Here are some pictures from one of the many snows we had. During this particular snow, it was very cold and windy and I was reluctant to take Avery outside, so we brought the snow in! Avery loved every minute of it, although I think she was way more into the bowl and spoon than the snow. It's hard to even think about snow with all this beautiful weather we've been having, but I wanted to share the fun we had while it was here!
I know, I have been MIA for the past few weeks and the blog got put on the back burner. We've been busy and have had a lot going on. Shayne, praise God, got a job and is now doing the shift work thing which has been a big change we are all trying to adjust to. Since Shayne is working again, I am trying to get back into the domesticated swing of things. During his unemployment, I was fortunate enough to not have to worry about grocery shopping, cooking dinner, cleaning, etc. (I know, I have an amazing hubby), but now it's up to me again.
So while I've been adjusting and readjusting, there's been very little "me" time after Avery goes to bed. This is typically when I get lost in the blogging world, but lately this time has been devoted to a new addiction...
Yes, I have jumped on the bandwagon (late as always) and I'm already sucked into the Twilight vortex (thanks Leah). I'm anxiously trying to finish the book so I can move on to the movie....and the other books that follow. Any-who, I have lots of catching up to do and a ton of pictures I want to post...so stay tuned!
Like every other red-blooded American child, Avery loves Elmo....L.O.V.E.S him! Our toy collection is slowly becoming overtaken by this red furry creature. Luckily, I think Elmo's pretty darn cute so it's something I can live with. I happened to catch a glimpse of the man behind the super puppet on TV one day and was quite surprised. Would you have guessed this one?
