Trip to the "Zoom!"

Avery has a love for animals and I have been anxiously waiting for the day to take her to the zoo (which she refers to as the "zoom"). During spring break, we decided to travel to the Asheboro Zoo. We had a great time and Avery loved seeing all the animals in person. The one thing she said she wanted to see the most was the "girafees" and she was lucky enough to not only see them, but had the opportunity to feed them. This was super cool in her book! She also loved riding the carousel and watching a Dora & Diego 3D movie. The "zoom" was a lot of fun and we hope to go back again some day!

Ready for Spring!

After a looong winter, this little family is yearning for some warm weather! We've been fortunate to have some warmer temperatures and sunny skies lately, so we decided to take advantage of them. Avery loves to do anything outside, so as long as she's outdoors, she is a happy camper. Well, she's a happy camper pretty much all of the time, but extra happy when outside :0). Here's some pictures from our bubble-blowing, flower-finding, duck-feeding, picnic and fishing good times!
